Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the United States. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is leading the way in research, finding a cure, and giving treatment to Cystic Fibrosis patients. over the past 3 decades, the life expectancy of a cf patient has increased from infancy to almost 40 years old due in part to the CF foundation's work. GladiATOrs was started in 2008 to help a child, the brother of a fellow ATO, who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis, . Over the past 8 years, the chapter has raised over $120,000 for the foundation and spread awareness for the disease. This year, ATO is again joining the fight through GladiATOrs.
